The SelectUSA Program and more specifically the SelectUSA Investment Summit – which will take place in Washington DC May 1-4, 2023 – is the US government’s Foreign Direct Investment program that supports investors enter the US market. We are currently recruiting the next delegation of Hungarian businesspeople interested in expanding their physical presence in the U.S.  During the SelectUSA Summit, you can familiarize yourself with the many incentives different states can offer as well as resources available related to site selection, registering a company, taxation, accounting, employment, housing, etc. You can listen to experience of former delegates from Hungary here.

At the summit, delegates can get insight of well-known personalities of global companies as well as government decision-makers (Program, Overview of last year’s summit agenda) but they can also arrange one-on-one meetings through the on-line partner research tool and do their ownnetworking, as well as participate in the spin-off events prior or after the summit (Spinoff-Events) to get a customized focus. Technology start-ups can enroll the SelectUSA Tech program, if the company is younger than 10 years old, employs less than 40 employees, its annual turnover does not exceed USD 10 million and if it is planning to expand to the U.S. within the next 2-3 years. For the application, please follow the steps on this page -https://www.selectusasummit.us/Applications/Investment-Summit-Application.  There is a Select Global Women in Tech (SGWIT) Program for female start-up entrepreneurs as well, from which you could benefit.
